Community Service Credit (Optional)

Students in grades 9 through 12 can obtain up to one full credit (towards graduation) for community service performed during a school year.

A community service half-credit can be granted for 55 hours of community service.

A community service full credit can be granted for 110 hours of community service.

Whether attempting the half-credit or full-credit option, hours must be completed within one school year.

A maximum of one credit from community service can be earned towards graduation.

Students must obtain written permission from their parent/guardian to participate in the community service optional credit.  The form is available in pdf format below:
